From my experience in baseball when I was a student, I was rewarding and fulfilling that I fulfilled the role I was given, and I was pleased to leave the results needed by someone.
Based on this experience, I hope that job hunting will provide "a job that provides essential things for life and sees its contribution." We met our company, which is engaged in diversified business development centered on stations, which are frequently used in daily life.
I decided to join the company because it was a job that I could directly interact with customers who use the station, so I thought I could realize that it was useful to people. I was also fascinated by the fact that I could contribute to the development of Kansai where I was born and raised.

After the training, I was assigned to Seven-Eleven Heart Inn JR Osaka Station North Store. It is an area where large commercial facilities are concentrated mainly on JR Osaka Station, and there are many customers from overseas.
When I was a university student, I had experience in customer service at a part-time job in the apparel and the food and beverage industry, but I have no experience in convenience stores. In an unfamiliar environment, I struggled to balance responsible behavior with awareness as an employee and acquisition of a wide range of tasks. Convenience stores require not only customer service and product delivery, but also specialized knowledge in store management. For example, in addition to accounting for sales, fine processing such as utility bills, free coupons, and tax exemption procedures for overseas customers are incurred. I wanted to be able to fight as quickly as possible, so I asked the manager and staff what I didn't understand until I was convinced, and I took notes. After returning home, re-organize the notes of the day. When new questions or confirmation items came up, I repeated to check them again the next day.
There were many veteran staff members at the assigned store, so there was a greater pressure to say, "Is it possible to satisfy as an employee?" Therefore, we strived to build good relationships by actively communicating with all staff while cherishing "obedientness and humility" without leaving our position as an employee.
From October 2023, I became a deputy manager at the same store. Even in busy stores, I would like to continue to have a broad perspective, enhance my personality, and communicate closely, and try to further improve the level of staff and stores.

What is your job worth and commitment?

It is rewarding for employees to work together and achieve results.

A month before becoming a deputy manager, a sale of my own ordering manager, Brito, was held. As an orderer, I thought about ways to raise awareness of Brito and get many customers to pick it up. Therefore, while asking the staff to speak out, he created wall POPs and popping POPs to appeal the charm of Brito. In addition, we will post sales target sheets in the backroom, check out items and follow-up at cash registers at morning meetings, and thoroughly disseminate our operations to sell them. As a result, we were able to keep sales close to the highest record of the number of burritos sold in a day. I was very happy. I realized that if I went carefully and worked hard, the staff would respond. In the future, while communicating closely with the staff, I would like to be conscious of a high level of work that makes people think "I want to act for this person."

A company that values communication and supports each other

It is a company where seniors, such as the store manager of a convenience store that provides guidance, and the education group at the head office, become very friendly and nurture them in a warm atmosphere. Convenience stores are made up of the staff who work together in the business area fulfill their roles. That's why I feel that there are many people who have "warm feelings" who do not lack communication, help each other, support each other, and work together in the same direction. I often have the opportunity to meet in sync, but if someone is worried, everyone can listen, think together, encourage them.…。 We are also blessed with friends who have "warm feelings" here.

You can only find a job once in a lifetime under the title of a new graduate. The name recognition and scale of the company are also important, but I think it is most important to carry out job hunting with strong feelings of "interesting" and "what you want to be in the future".
